RE

RE

This is where I found my object, along the
shore of the sculpture park   (right)
I chose this because the veins of quartz replicate almost perfectly the lines that stood out to e the most to me in the park from my perspective.

This is my rock over white (below)

       Re-Contextualization
I re-contextualized my rock by putting back into a larger piece of stone, one that is meant to look like the foundation of the building or something close. this contrasts the broken mountainside that is now in pieces along the waterfront.                          (below)

Re-Contruction
I recontructed my rock into the form of a mountain, with moss as the grassy hills around it and pieces of ceder  foliage as small trees. The original thing i noticed about the rock, aside from the veins of quartz, was the corner of it that looks like the peak of a mountain. Combining this similar shape with the fact that this rock was once part of the mountainside, led me to this new form.

Re-Placement
Back in place among it's fellow earthen shards, my miniature mountain stands out with it's foliage, whist also seeming in place along the rocky shoreline.
